About the role

The role of Branch Manager is responsible for the overall business performance of the branch. The manager drives activities to achieve business performance through inspirational team leadership, cross channel collaboration and strategic business development activities.

Leading and inspiring your team to be successful is a significant component of the role. This is achieved through coaching your team to have inspired conversations with customers, uncovering genuine needs and overcoming obstacles by working together to fulfil these, driving the right customer satisfaction scores within your business. Your hands-on retail banking background and home lending experience will help ensure our customers achieve their home ownership and finance goals!

As a community leader the role of Branch Manager is also responsible for building and maintaining trusted relationships externally with our local customers, business leaders and community partners. This is balanced with coaching and growing a team of great Bankers to deliver a consistent, positive signature customer experience.

All new business leaders receive a tailored onboarding and training program to cater for their level of expertise. Further development goals will be linked to your career objectives and form part of your individual development plan.

About you

When considering the essential requirements of this leadership role, existing business leadership within banking is preferred, including exposure to mortgage or credit products, which will help ensure the right experiences’ will continue for our team members and customers in branch.
