The opportunity at AIA

We have a fantastic opportunity for an Accounts Payable Officer to join our business in our finance department on a permanent basis. Working in a fast paced team, the Accounts Payable Officer is responsible for ensuring all tasks associated with making payments to clients and suppliers of AIA are made to the appropriate payee in a timely manner.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A customer focused approach with strong written and verbal communication
  • Attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
  • A great attitude with strong team collaboration
  • A general knowledge of the accounts payable life cycle processes with an ability to interpret and uphold company polocies
  • Adaptable to learn new processes and committed to delivering quality of work within agreed turn around time

You will be someone who applies a continuous improvement lens to all that you do and as a result you take responsibility for the appropriate scheduling of activities to meet end of day processing deadlines. Knowledge of Sun, SAP and Ariba will be highly regarded.
