About the role
We are currently seeking a Workforce Development & Industry Participation Lead to join us on a major infrastructure project in Sydney, NSW. This permanent role offers great career prospects with a privately owned tier 1 constructor and international engineering enterprise.
Lead the development and implementation of the Workforce and Industry Participation Strategy for the project, to make a positive impact on the Sydney community through skills development. Engage and collaborate with internal teams, and external community and stakeholder groups, to drive and deliver workforce participation. Identify and cultivate job and training opportunities, and establish and maintain relationships with key employment, training and industry stakeholders. Monitor, report and track progress of workforce development strategies. Lead monthly Workforce Development and Industry Participation meetings.
Experience in developing and delivering workforce development projects, ideally gained on major infrastructure projects. A relevant qualification in Adult Education, Vocational Education, Organisational Development, Education or Human Resources, and a Cert IV or equivalent in Training and Assessment. High-level skills in stakeholder engagement, communication, planning, policy and procedure development, and report writing.
