A bit about the role
As a Training and Development Specialist, your role will be responsible for designing and delivering the new and refresh enablement programs and workshops to Retail Service Providers and maximise the effectiveness of operational transactions. You will be responsible for the design, development, delivery and maintenance of creative, engaging and interactive training material for RSPs to ensure they are best equipped to transact and sell nbn services.
Through engaging internal nbn teams, you will also create training/informational material and content that supports changes or new processes, and establish best practice customer capability through analysis, tracking and conversion of business information into a syllabus.
Your role will also provide design support to individual business functions and company wide projects as required, assess training requirements/performance, set up and manage e-learning platforms, and identify opportunities for improvement. This role will have direct interaction with nbn customers.
The focus of your role will be to:
- Schedule and facilitate operational workshops with RSPs.
- Design, develop and maintain creating, engaging and interactive training materials/content.
- Plan and organise activities to achieve organisational goals.
- Design and implement a solution and measure & evaluate the effectiveness of all training programs to capability & performance.
- Manage e-Learning platform, training libraries & documentation.

A bit about you
To succeed in this role, you will have knowledge and experience in designing, developing and delivering training projects. Previous exposure to a high-level complex customer service environment with highly developed verbal and written communications skills along with excellent presentation skills will be essential to succeed in this role. Experience within a telco environment or a background in business analysis would be highly regarded. Proven experience in instructional design and L&D space would be desirable.
An understanding of nbn Product’s and Process is highly desirable in this role.
