About the role
Laing O’Rourke are seeking an experienced Recruiter to join our South Eastern Program Alliance (SEPA) team based in Richmond, VIC.
SEPA is delivering a program of works for the Level Crossing Removal Authority. This is a delivery entity created by the Victorian Government to remove 75 dangerous and congested level crossings across Victoria by 2025. It is one of the largest rail infrastructure projects in Victoria’s history.
Our current pipeline of works includes major station upgrades, track duplications and a range of other critical rail infrastructure works.
You will be responsible for sourcing and attracting high calibre candidates to Laing O'Rourke for the SEPA Project. You will develop relationships with key stakeholders across the project team and understand pipeline of on-going staff requirements. This will involve managing end to end recruitment processes. You will manage our external talent pipeline, ensuring we have suitable candidates at the right time. This will include advertising, phone screening, interviewing and conducting reference checks.
You will ideally have high volume recruitment experience preferably within the construction & engineering industry in Melbourne. You will work well as part of a team and bring a good network and understanding of the local market.
