The Lake Vermont Coal Project is situated in Dysart, North Queensland.

This project is one of Thiess’ largest and longest running projects. The project currently produces 10Mt of coal and 75Mbcm of overburden annually.

About the role

As our Maintenance Planner/Supervisor - CHPP reporting to the CHPP Superintendent you will work collaboratively towards delivering high-quality solutions and results. You will be required to plan and coordinate all site CHPP maintenance activities. Supervising a small team, you will ensure all maintenance work is compliant with relevant legislation, OEM specifications and Thiess systems to achieve agreed benchmark levels of safety, cost, availability and productivity.

About you

  • Mechanical trade or >5 years experience in a fixed plant planning role
  • Maintenance management diploma or Engineer Mechanical/Process qualification advantageous
  • Experience planning and executing major and minor shutdown works
  • Fixed Plant Maintenance planning experience
  • Experience with CMMS - JDE, SAP, MEX, Ellipse or similar highly regarded
  • Current Driver’s Licence

Roster & Conditions

  • 5/2 Roster - Monday to Friday with rostered monthly RDO's
  • Full camp facilities available
