About the role

Laing O'Rourke is recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor/Contract Administrator to work on one of our significant rail project, upgrading Sydenham Station part of Sydney Metro City & Southwest program.

Laing O’Rourke, in joint venture with John Holland are delivering:

  • New station entrances at Burrows Road and Railway Parade
  • New concourse over the station with lifts and stairs to each platform, including the two new Sydney Metro platforms
  • Easy interchange for passengers between Sydney Trains and Sydney Metro services
  • Improved interchange for bus customers

Key responsibilities

You will be responsible for the preparation and agreement of variations and review of contractual obligations.

You will have

Tertiary qualifications in Commercial Law, Quantity Surveying, Accounting, Engineering or similar and have experience working in similar roles.

You will also possess comprehensive knowledge of the principles and practices of contract management, program financial management, risk and opportunity management, performance reporting, budget preparation and administration.
