About the role

Laing O'Rourke are recruiting for a Project Leader to manage our Track Renewals & Maintenance project in Melbourne, VIC.

The package of works is designed to improve and extend the life of the Melbourne train network in order to maintain operational and functional performance standards for the travelling public.

Key responsibilities

The Project Leader is responsible for leading the delivery and detail design management process of the project. They will ensure the delivery of the project is within the safety, time, cost and quality requirements of the company.

You will manage the employee relation function of the project team and engage, motivate and provide disciplined leadership for all project staff.

You will have

Ideally you will have extensive experience in delivering rail projects, and bring exceptional leadership and technical skills. You will have a relevant Engineering degree and will offer a strong civil background, gained with Tier 1 Contractors.
