We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Associate to work in our Intellectual Property & Technology practice in Sydney on a full-time basis.

You will work in a team led by Tim Webb in undertaking both commercial and intellectual property litigation, primarily in the Supreme Court of NSW and Federal Court. You will also provide advice to clients in both contentious and non-contentious matters.

You'll be joining a team that is progressive, non-hierarchical and collegiate, with a culture of high performance, a strong growth strategy and a determination to be the market leaders in IP litigation matters across a range of industries, including telecommunications, media and technology. This role will see you working with some of our largest clients.

Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • 5+ years' PQE in a first-tier Australian (or overseas, English common law jurisdiction) legal firm

  • Extensive commercial litigation experience (IP specialisation is desirable but not necessary)

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills and an ability to communicate with impact to both internal and external clients and staff

  • A commercially pragmatic mindset and a proactive working style
  • A relatable disposition, and a client service focus
  • An aptitude for finding creative and unconventional solutions to complex problems

In addition to this, we're looking for a resilient, self-starter. Someone who is able to work autonomously and is focused on providing an outstanding service to their clients.
