The Amazon Web Services Professional Services team is looking for a Partner Enterprise Service Manager (ESM) that can manage the working relationship with global AWS Partners, develop a long term Professional Services strategy and execute that strategy with those partners. The Partner ESM is a trusted advisor for our largest and most committed AWS Partner Network (APN) partners. The role includes all aspects of business development, relationship development, AWS best practice coaching and enablement, delivery oversight and program management in those partners.

AWS Professional Services engage in a wide variety of projects for customers and partners, providing collective experience from across the AWS customer base with our APN partners, and are obsessed about teaming with APN partners for strong success for the customer. Our team collaborates across the entire AWS organization to bring access to product and service teams, to get the right solution delivered and drive feature innovation based upon customer needs.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about:

  • Long term development of Global Organizations
  • Engage with APN partners to deliver successful customer outcomes through building joint development, teaming, delivery and enablement plans
  • Development of long term Cloud Strategy for APN partners
  • Identify & develop specific opportunities and supporting business cases
  • Deal shaping, including estimations and deal pricing
  • Support contract negotiations & closing
  • Planning and implementation of a portfolio of projects, including budget & deliverable responsibilities
  • Mitigation of delivery risks & issues
  • Overseeing delivery of priming, sub-contracting and joint delivery projects, ensuring high quality delivery
  • Act as single person of contact in AWS Professional Services for APN partner executives, developing deep, trustful relations
  • Educate APN partners on AWS services and translate those into clear joint business value proposition
  • Envision and inspire APN partners
  • Coaching partner teams to be self-sufficient

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • A Bachelor's degree; Masters/MBA degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of IT consulting/management experience, with demonstrated IT Transformation experience in customer and partner-facing roles. Experience working with large customer and partner multi-national organizations as the Consulting Services lead, Account and/or Relationship Manager
  • Demonstrated ability to work creatively and analytically in meeting customer and partner needs.
  • A proven track record of managing and delivering large-scale enterprise IT projects through teaming with Global System Integrators and Born in the Cloud partners.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including group leadership and executive presentations.Be mobile and open to travel to client locations as and when required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Managing executive customer and GSI partner relationships and key business stakeholders.
  • Experience with contract and statement of work development.
  • Enterprise Architecture Frameworks (e.g. TOGAF, Zachman) and identifying the relationships between business services, information, applications and global infrastructure assets.
  • Enterprise IT management frameworks (e.g. COBIT, ITIL).
  • Broad enterprise systems technology experience including IaaS / virtualization technologies, SAP, Oracle, and custom applications.
  • Designing, building, and operating global IT processes and infrastructures.
  • Familiarity with industry compliance and security standards including PCI DSS, SOC-1&2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GxP and FDA.
