We have a full-time role for a Employee Services Compliance/Reporting Analyst who will be responsible for ensuring Downer’s expense and travel policy are followed, providing insightful reports to the business and ensuring expense data integrity in the ERP.

Reporting to the Employee Services Supervisor, the role will have the following key responsibilities:

  • Analyse raw data and prepare compliance reports to support the business operations
  • Be the main contact with CTM and Concur Audit from a compliance and reporting perspective
  • Leverage of CTM and Concur Audit reports
  • Resolve issues raised through the Quality Management System (ServiceNow),
  • Ensure integrity of expense data posted to ERP and reconcile expense related clearing account,
  • Assist/guide junior members in the team,
  • Maintain/update the expense and travel policy/procedures as required,
  • Provide after-hours support as required

To be successful in the role, you will have:

  • Minimum 7 years in a compliance, reporting analyst and/or financial accounting role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • Accounting qualification such as CA or CPA is required
  • Experience in balance sheet account reconciliation is required
  • Experience in Expense Management, Corporate Card Services, Corporate Travel booking within a large organization is desired
  • Concur, Tramada and large ERP (e.g. JDEGS, SAP) experience is desired
  • Strong analytical and spreadsheet skills
  • Able to associate financial/operational data against policy
  • Able to effectively communicate information to a range of stakeholders including business customers and external vendors (e.g. AMEX, Concur, CTM)
  • Able to quickly understand and apply knowledge of Concur Expense Management System and Tramada Lightning Self Booking system
  • Strong attention to detail with ability to review own work for accuracy
  • Able to develop own understanding of processes and suggest and/or implement process improvement initiatives as required
  • Able to work well in a fast-paced environment and quickly shift focus as required
  • Enjoy looking into the numbers and analysing data

In addition, you will have:

  • Understand how to reconcile payment clearing account and able to navigate through large ERPs and integration tools
  • Knowledge of American Express and Visa credit card functionalities, online booking tools and international travel booking process would be an advantage
  • Very strong capability with Excel
  • Proficient in other Microsoft Office software – Access, Word
