We currently have a great opportunityfor an experienced Senior Analyst toprovide in-depth quantitative and financial performance analysis for our Motorwaysteam within RMS.
As a Senior Analyst, you will be entrusted with development andimplementation of analytics for programs across the Motorways Divisionincluding tracking against plan targets and the provision of meaningful andinsightful reports, analysis and expert advice. You will work closely with theSenior Manager Performance Analyst & Reporting, as well as the MotorwaysDivision Senior Executives to provide timely advice, correlate potential trendsacross the business and ensure that accurate and up-to-date information isbeing captured. Youwill enjoy working on high profile projects, knowing that your role is criticalto the delivery of public value for the people of NSW.
Some of the key accountabilities for this role include:
- Provision of analytical advice and support tobusiness areas including Finance, Procurement, People and Culture, Property andProject Controls
- Extraction and consolidation of data from a rangeof systems and platforms to facilitate the development of coherent, automatedand credible reports
- Development of performance metrics to effectivelyassess project performance, risks and opportunities.
- Management of client and stakeholder relationships
- Implementation of change programs throughinfluence, negotiation and effective communication

Ideal skills, experienceand personal attributes
Superior quantitative analysis will be your forte supported by a proventrack record of reporting effectively on performance and activities, though nota prerequisite, ideally in a construction or infrastructure project context.Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-moving environment, you excel at managingconflicting demands and finding solutions that satisfy both quality and time objectives.You have experience working with main ERP systems and advanced skills inMicrosoft Excel. Understanding of project costing framework will be highlyregarded. You demonstrate exceptional attentionto detail yet maintain a big-picture project lifecycle view. Most importantly,you are solutions focused with an excellent ability to communicate effectivelywith senior stakeholders to approach various challenges as they arise.
