The Opportunity: We have a great opportunity for an exceptional candidate to join the Dexus Office Property and Asset Management team as a Property Manager focusing our Sydney CBD Premium Assets. The Office & Industrial (O&I) team manages the Group’s office and industrial property portfolio and development and trading platform. In line with the Group’s strategy, the team is focused on achieving and maintaining sector leadership in the Australian office market and growing its industrial capabilities to 'best in class' through improved tenant retention and occupancy*.*
The Role: At the core of this busy, challenging and customer focused role, the Property Managerhas responsibility for the day-to-day performance and operations of an assigned number of premium assets, directly contributing to a culture of customer service, accountability and entrepreneurial spirit whilst delivering an innovative and outstanding customer experience to our valued tenants. This role will see you contributing to leasing initiatives, re-positioning and the on boarding of new commercial tenants as well as managing lease obligations, transactions all while ensuring you are consistently improving the tenant experience. Of course, you will be managing the property’s financial performance as it relates to contracted income, recoveries, operational expenditure, CAPEX and arrears along with managing accurate monthly forecasting.
The Potential: Success in this role will be the ability to provide strong knowledge in the commercial property management space, working at a fast pace handling competing priorities and an extremely high level of customer service and stakeholder management. Ideally, you will have a prior experience working in a similar commercial property management role, ideally with exposure to A grade or Premium office assets on the landlord side. You will join our hardworking, supportive team with a positive attitude and team spirit and the demonstrated ability to get on with a range of people with diverse personalities, work well under pressure, calmly handle competing priorities. You will be well versed in complex lease negotiations, financial reporting and ideally have experience managing buildings undergoing major capital works.
