The Opportunity: We have a great opportunity for an exceptional candidate to join the Dexus O&I Leasing Team as a Leasing Analyst focusing on delivering leasing deal analytical services across an assigned portfolio of assets within the Office and Industrial (O&I) division, enhancing the production of optimal commercial outcomes. In line with the Group’s strategy, the team is focused on achieving and maintaining sector leadership in the Australian office market and growing its capabilities to 'best in class' through improved tenant retention and occupancy.

The Role: At the core of this analytical and fast paced role, the Leasing Analyst has responsibility for the assessing the impact on fund leasing and operating metrics such as occupancy, retention, incentives and total returns. As a passionate analyst, with knowledge of the commercial leasing market and the ability to turn data into commercial insights, in this exciting role you will provide expert market advice and intelligence to internal stakeholders such as Head of Portfolio’s and Asset managers on transactions supporting leasing activity for your nominated assets aiding them meet their financial benchmarks. This role will include asset modelling, ensuring Argus models are accurate and up to date as well as preparing Net Present Value calculations and Investment Committee papers.

The Potential: Success in this role will be the ability to provide strong technical advice and recommendations to the wider Office and Industrial team with clear models and analytics to support complex leasing transactions and negotiations. Ideally, you will have a prior knowledge or exposure to the Sydney Office Market, having worked in property finance or analytics. You will join our hardworking, supportive team with a positive attitude and team spirit and the demonstrated ability to get on with a range of people with diverse personalities, work well under pressure, calmly handle competing priorities and manage expectations. The new addition to the team will have 4 + years’ experience in a valuation, property finance or leasing analytics role and have a hunger and drive for results.
