Working with Dexus you never know what kind of challenges and opportunities you’ll be presented with. We encourage collaboration, creativity, diverse thought and autonomy to come up with new ideas, concepts and alternative solutions. We believe this keeps our business sharp, agile and sustainable.

The Opportunity:

Due to exciting growth, we have a unique opportunity for a Workplace Consultant to join our office and industrial portfolio, based in Sydney. This is an excellent opportunity to provide market insight into innovative workspaces tailored to the needs of each customer, offering a service from design through to change management and implementation. It’s an opportunity to innovate, consult and advise using your industry experience and to take ownership of exciting strategies in Workplace.

The Role:

Stepping into this fantastic newly created role as the Workplace Consultant you will be responsible for engaging with existing and potential customers throughout the leasing process, providing strategic insight into workspace design and utilisation. A background and qualification in Design/Architecture would be ideal, in combination with experience in workplace psychology, human resources and/or sales would be beneficial. You will take ownership of consulting and advising on several areas, including: strategic plans for location and form, utilisation studies, ‘smart’ fit outs and space budgeting, workplace health checks, ‘WELL’ audits and NABERS tenancy rating. Your role will also be focused around change management coaching, delivering and developing thought leadership presentations, concept planning and test fits and liaising with third party designers. In addition, you will really benefit from industry knowledge, with the ability to foresee and advise on market and industry developments and innovations.

The Potential:

To be successful in this role you will be truly collaborative and value building relationships. The opportunity requires this person to be strategic, strong priority setting skills and the ability to problem solve effectively. You will focus on driving high quality results, with a keen eye for attention to detail and importantly be agile in a changing market. We are looking for someone that is not only able to demonstrate senior level experience in workplace design, consulting and change management – we require someone with the ability to look at the psychology of a workplace, the health & wellbeing aspects and how the space is truly efficient. You be respected within the industry and will be a strong influencer, who will be required to present to major stakeholders – raising your profile within Dexus.

We can offer you a Great Place to Work! At Dexus we value diversity and inclusion across our organisation. We believe diversity in all forms is good for business, good for our customers and good for our culture. We provide a breadth of flexible work arrangements for women and men within our workplace and offer wellbeing support, professional development and great benefits to ensure that our people are engaged and performing at their best.
