Job description:

What you will be doing as part of the Mondo Team?

As the Corrosion Engineer you will be providing sound & timely cathodic protection expertise and project management to our external customers and key service providers / contractors whilst liaising with various technical bodies and other authorities to achieve desired outcomes. You will have the opportunity to mentor Junior Corrosion Engineers and Corrosion Technologists/Technicians in all facets of CP.

Your previous project management experience will be essential in being able to effectively manage contractual and financial requirements and drive projects through to successful delivery. You’ll also provide complex designs and review designs of new impressed current cathodic protection and sacrificial anode systems and compile technical reports.

This opportunity is best suited to candidates who possess and Engineering/Science degree in an applicable field, such as, Corrosion, Material, Metallurgy, Chemical or Electrical. This is not a fully hands-on technical role, however some years of technical knowledge of corrosion protection would be highly advantageous in combination with your strong client / stakeholder management skills and your previous project management experience.
