About the role

In this role you will be responsible for precast / prestressed concrete solutions sales, focussing on Engineering and Construction market segments across the territory.

The role combines technical, sales and marketing and project management skills to generate growth and profitable sales for our Humes business in Victoria.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate and convert leads with existing and new customers
  • Raise knowledge of our products, capabilities and solutions for civil, infrastructure, resources and development.
  • Engage proactively with specifying engineers and consultancies
  • Provide engineering input/assistance to Account Managers, Customer Service Officers and Production as required in response to customer enquiries.

About you

  • Background in engineering or technical sales is essential. Degree in Civil Engineering would be an advantage.
  • Previous experience in B2B sales
  • Knowledge of the Construction, Engineering and Infrastructure Market and key Consultants/Contractors would be an advantage
  • Superior organisation and communication skills with a strong Engineering focus
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and be able to build rapport
  • Able to find ways to put together solutions that add value for your customers
