Role synopsis:

The role of Performance Advisor is to co-ordinate analysis and produce MI in respect of AsPac that will enable the PPR Manager the insight to communicate & report the plans, progress against plan and performance targets, the tracking of risks to these targets and ad-hoc requests to the COO, Segment and ANZ FVC Leadership Team. This role is responsible for managing the MI produced by PPR for the local business (Volcano reporting), supporting the ZBB cost culture across the organisation and providing insight to the PPR manager intra month and end of month. The post holder will act as back up for key PPR processes

Key accountabilities:


•Produce insights on volume, margin and costs linked with qualitative inputs from spokes.

•Support alignment of MLO and GFO/LE between PPR Manager and Commercial Performance Manager

•Support ZBB process via (1) support to Cost Category Owners – ensure Finance Tags are supporting CCOs with Actions and meeting decks; (2) attend Cost Category Team meetings to observe and support where necessary - act as assurance on Finance support to ZBB overall; (4) Ensure MBR inputs are received from CCOs and prepare jointly with Procurement for the MBR; (5) compile ZBB governance pre read

•Support Cash and CBM team with analysis and insight as required

•Support (as holiday cover only) the CBM data consolidation process

Reporting:•Maintain AsPac Performance Sharepoint, produce monthly reports for AsPac performance SharePoint and support continuous improvement of AsPac Fuels MI Book and other reporting

•Produce the SPU Intramonth report to communicate intra month top line performance and insights

Essential Education:

Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Commerce or relevant business discipline; CPA or CA qualified.

Essential experience and job requirements:

•Strong communication skills.

•Strong analytical, financial and performance management skills.

•Excellent team player, able to build working relationships across teams

•Self starter, pro-active and taking initiative.

•Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

•Broad technical experience across Finance (to include Controls; MI; Process Efficiency)

Desirable criteria & qualifications:

•Deep knowledge of Refining, Supply and Marketing

•Strong systems knowledge and experience (BW, FBW, and EP2).

•Capability in Power BI

We’ve been proudly operating in Australia for almost 100 years.
