The opportunity

Right now, Roads and Maritime Services in the process of delivering an ambitious $51.2 billion investment into building a future-ready transport system, mobilising new project teams every day to make big things happen in the infrastructure space. We currently have a great opportunity for an ambitious Business Support Officer to drive real business enhancement as part of our Motorways team within RMS.

In this role, you will provide high level administrative and executive services to the Program Director. You will enjoy interacting and collaborating closely with senior professionals in the business to understand their needs, communicate on behalf of the Director and coordinate the provision of the administrative support required to make things happen. You will gain an in-depth understanding of the way our high profile Motorways Division operates and have the opportunity to work on game-changing infrastructure projects that make a real difference for our customers, the people of NSW.

Ideal skills, experience and personal attributes

To be successful in this role you will have experience in a large and complex organisation providing exceptional executive support including undertaking diary management, preparation of agendas and meeting documentation, managing information requests, drafting email correspondence and recording expenses. You will be entrusted to respond to confidential, critical and politically sensitive issues with integrity and discretion in a timely and effective manner. Most importantly, you demonstrate the confidence and charisma required to build relationships, influence others and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

The salary for this position is USS 7 ($88,450 - $93,348) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
