ABOUT THE ROLE:

  • Permanent part time (20 hours per fortnight) and casual positions available at Mercy Place Colac
  • We are looking to employ a qualified cook to provide nutritious meal options to our residents
  • Reporting to the Catering and Housekeeping Manager you will ensure meals are prepared according to individual resident dietary requirements and served according to internal guidelines

ABOUT US:

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL HAVE:

  • Qualifications in Cooking (minimum Certificate III in Commercial Cookery)
  • Experience in a commercial kitchen and Aged Care is desirable but not essential
  • Ability to operate in a team environment and during peak periods
  • An understanding that producing nutritious meals is an important part of home life for residents (and their families)
  • Desire to make a difference and impact the lives of our residents by providing good meal preparation and technique
