Your business unit
Enterprise Services (ES) is responsible for the world leading application of technology and operations across every aspect of CommBank, from innovative product platforms for our customers to essential tools within our business. We also use technology to drive efficient and timely processing, an essential component of great customer service.
As part of our Institutional Banking and Markets team Enterprise Services team you will take ownership of ensuring that the IT systems utilised across several core-banking services are reliable, efficient, secure and most importantly enables our staff to execute good outcomes for our customer.
As a member of this team, you will also help ensure that our ‘change the bank’ activities are fully embedded in order to meet our industry obligations and exceed group performance expectations.
As a program manager, you will take ownership of one of the institutional banks most critical projects. As part of embedding and implementing a market leading institutional banking platform you will be directly accountable for budgetary management, people management, maintaining an effective agile work environment and ultimately ensuring the project meets cost, time and performance expectation.
The platform will require a number of complex data migration, uplift and integration challenges and through working collaboratively across a team of 60-70 you will ensure your stakeholder has an excellent experience both seeing the value of and minimising the risk as the platform continues to develop.
In addition to controlling an existing workflow, sprint and scrum cycle you will also offer innovation, recommendations and generally offering insights into how the programme could be delivered more effectively.
This role would suit an individual who is prepared to hold themselves accountable and create a culture where staff fully understand their performance expectations whilst enjoying being involved in developing cutting edge financial services technology.
- Extensive previous senior project management/program manager experience
- Extensive experience managing large project teams (20+ minimum)
- Extensive experience working on projects in excess of $5million.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience working with SaaS platforms and an excellent understanding of integrating third party (closed tech) platforms.
- Experience across a variety of technology stacks including .net, SQL, Java etc.
- Experience utilising a number of different reporting tools to outline programme performance.
