Come and be a part of this success.The Superintendent Mine Scheduling role reports to the Manager Mine Scheduling. This is a challenging and exciting role that will see you leading the Mine Planning team at Mt Arthur to deliver robust mine designs and schedules from current day for 3 months.
You will be the key stakeholder in engaging with functional process teams to align the medium and longer term strategic plans. You will also be driven to build capability and develop systems and processes to ensure the team reaches their optimal performance.
This is a critical role that will enable you to utilise your mine planning and leadership skills while gaining broad exposure across the operation, as well as influencing the performance of your team. You will also have access to a supportive and results-oriented leadership team. You will be a degree qualified engineer familiar with Truck and shovel operations in an open cut environment. You will have already successfully led high performing teams on delivering executable mine plans and schedules or have the experience drive and confidence to take this next step in your career. As the successful applicant you will have:
- Solid experience working in a technical services or mine planning role in an open cut environment;
- The ability and desire to lead, coach and mentor a team of technical professionals to ensure optimal delivery against performance and safety targets;
- Highly developed communication skills and an ability to work across various stakeholders;
