Telstra Enterprise (TE) is a growth engine for Telstra and is focused on providing global business customers of all sizes with industry based services and solutions. Our Victorian Sales team are currently on the lookout for a customer focused, collaborative individual to be our next Technology Sales Specialist. Based in Melbourne, you'll be accountable for the delivery of incremental sales and revenue growth by focusing on Telstra's data and strategic solution set (Data, IP, Video Conferencing, IP Telephony, Collaboration, Cloud, Security and other growth portfolio’s). You'll partner with your aligned account team and their customers in proactively identifying data and ICT strategic solution opportunities and leading those deals to a close. This includes solution definition and design and working with our best of breed partner network to deliver the solution. You'll also enhance your aligned account team's technical knowledge by coaching them on the latest and greatest in our product solution set including pricing to empower them to be able to discuss these solution opportunities with their customers.
So you're probably wondering what you can bring to the role? I'm glad you asked! You'll impress us with your strong consulting and B2B sales experience gained in the telco/ICT/IT industry. You have a proven track record of consistent sales achievement and are comfortable engaging at the C level within your small to medium business customers but can also talk to the technology. You're focused on finding the best solution for your customer and can take the customer on the journey from beginning to end. You're tech savvy and enjoy staying ahead of any product and technology developments. Just as important is your ability to work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders as well as your impactful negotiation and presentation skills.
