The Role and Responsibilities
This Research Fellow position is funded by a research grant to RMIT University from the Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) and will contribute to the design, development, fabrication and performance testing of the main components of the proton flow reactor system, including the reversible hydrogen fuel cell, the carbon-based material employed for electrochemical hydrogen storage, and a slurry electrode composed of this material.
Skills & Experience Required
You will have proven high quality academic and/or industry-based research and technology development experience in one or more of the following areas: fuel cells or related electrochemical systems, solid-state hydrogen storage, thermo fluids or fluid mechanics, electrochemistry, microfluidics, and materials science. You will have a track record in publishing high-quality journal articles in ERA-ranked journals and conferences, and/or research project reports, in research areas relevant to the proton flow reactor system.
