Working 8 days on-6 days off, 7 nights on-7 nights off roster as part of the Underground Mining Team your main duties include Explosive Magazine Keeper, explosives delivery, stores delivery to underground deliver points, laundry duties and other miscellaneous tasks as required. You will also be responsible for making sure that all ancillary equipment is operating and cleaned to the highest standard.
You must be a confident driver as you will be required to drive a bus between the camp village and mine site, as well as operate other machinery as instructed.
- Previous experience in handling and transporting explosives (desirable);
- Previous underground experience preferred;
- Current Western Australian HR Drivers Licence or equivalent Australian bus license with "F" class endorsement is a prerequisite to be considered;
- General labouring or trades assistant history in a commercial industry or the mining sector;
- Mechanical aptitude;
- Excellent time management skill and ability to make prioritised decisions; and
- Good communication skills – confident talking on two way radios.

The operation sources nickel ore from the Perseverance Underground Mine and Cliffs Underground Mine before crushing and processing to produce a concentrate.
