Join PwC as a passionate and self-motivated Manager, you will be advising the firm and its Partners and staff on challenging regulatory and compliance matters in an ever changing digital environment. You will be analysing compliance with policy and regulations, providing helpful and valued advice, overseeing and implementing key compliance procedures and working on projects. The successful candidate needs to be able to think laterally to find constructive, pragmatic and timely solutions to the regulatory challenges that arise in this constantly changing environment.
This role is in the experienced and respectedRisk Compliance and Governance team at PwC. The team supports and advises PwC,a global organisation. The role is stimulating, challenging and diverse. Itwill suit candidates who are both analytic and creative, interested in digitaldevelopments, open to learning new things and confident in advising seniorteams. The team engages regularly with their global counterparts, workscollaboratively with other teams, advises on local and global regulations andpolicy, and enjoys the challenge of a fast changing business.
You will be required to:
- Become a subject matter expert on auditor independence regulations and policy
- Provide advice on regulatory and policy compliance on a range of areas from personal investments to service offerings to business relationships
- Analyse new business offerings and digital and technology developments against regulatory and policy requirements
- Monitor and manage key local and global compliance programs for the business, including analysing results and developing training/ communications/ guidance materials
- Influence and manage relationships with stakeholders
- Mentor and coach junior members of the team
You’ll have experience & understanding of regulatory compliance and/or compliance risk management, in applying and advising on compliance with legislation / policy. You might have experience in doing just this from a background in tax advisory, legal or audit.
You’ll also have strong analytical and creative thinking skills, and ideally an interest in keeping up to date with digital developments. to enable you to provide solutions to a broad range of stakeholders.
You have demonstrated experience in managing key stakeholder relationships and your impressive written / verbal communication skills will enable you to influence and become a respected adviser within the Firm.
