Partner Marketing Manager, ANZ

Partners are a critical part of Amazon Web Services’s Australia/New Zealand business success. Amazon Web Services is seeking a talented, self-directed partner marketing professional to develop marketing programs that support the growth objectives of the AWS business in ANZ and drive partner led opportunities and revenue growth. These marketing programs will include both AWS education programs “to” partners and the development of “joint” demand generation and brand awareness programs.

The right candidate has successful experience in driving partner centric marketing programs that deliver results, an unbridled passion for technology, and an entrepreneurial spirit.

Responsibilities include:
  • Own a core set of ANZ “to partner” marketing programs with responsibility for building the program strategy and resources to scale across the market.
  • Work directly with consulting and technology partners to build and execute joint-marketing plans that are customer-centric and deliver customer demand, revenue growth, and positively impact Amazon Web Services brand equity.
  • Organize, assist and implement partner-led marketing events, including exhibitions, seminars and tradeshows.
  • Localize and execute global partner marketing programs and campaigns in country.
  • Drive interlock and alignment with the Field Marketing team to ensure that Partner Marketing programs amplify the AWS marketing priorities in country.
  • Monitor and support partner utilization of Market Development Funds (MDF) and enable appropriate spend of MDF on marketing initiatives including being an expert resource on process, guidelines and options for partners.
  • Measure key metrics and KPIs and insuring all established goals, objectives and deliverables are met.
  • Manage local marketing agency resources to deliver partner marketing programs to the partner ecosystem at scale.


  • 10+ years of marketing experience in a technology environment directly supporting sales teams such as Field Marketing, Alliance Marketing or Partner Marketing
  • Experience in developing partner facing programs, strong experience in managing and influencing multiple partners of varied sizes to execute on shared goals.
  • Experience in managing agencies to deliver partner marketing programs at scale.
  • Solid understanding of lead management and funnel management
  • A willingness to travel and ability to work independently and autonomously


  • Bachelor degree in business, marketing, technology, or relevant field of study.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement (internal and external) with the ability to influence
  • Highly organized, data-driven and detail oriented. Skilled negotiator with proven experience finding creative ways to do more with less, and a track record of staying on budget.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment with the ability to prioritize, pivot and problem-solve
  • Interested in building programs and processes from the ground up and comfortable in ambiguous environments
  • A strong team player – comfortable and motivated working in a collaborative environment
• Proven knowledge of industry tools preferred, such as Marketo, SalesForce, HTML, and online analytics packages.
