As an Express Claims Advisor in one of our Workers’ Compensation teams your role will encompass receiving/registering workers’ compensation claims, management of administration activities including assisting claims advisors to gather the required information to allow effective management of workers compensation claims, conducting procedural tasks such as sending correspondence, entering data and information into workflow systems, liaising with various stakeholders, including employees, rehab coordinators, general practitioners and other service providers on relevant claims administration issues and providing general administrative support to the claims advisors and managers.

As this is a development role for progression into future claims roles, we are investing heavily in the right candidate and as a result are looking for someone with a great attitude, highly motivated to assist others and has a strong desire to progress into a career claims role with Zurich.
Other key attributes that will see you highly successful in this role are being well organised with strong attention to detail, a friendly ‘can-do’ attitude, and of course excellent written and verbal communication skills. The role will be high pressure at times with strict deadlines, so your ability to handle this, as well as being able to function in a high-volume and fast paced environment is paramount to the role. Additionally, you will be comfortable multi-tasking and problem solving, and will possess a willingness to take instructions and use initiative to learn.
From a technical standpoint you will have a sound understanding in computer literacy (Microsoft Office Word, Excel and databases)
