We are seeking Expressions Of Interest from Fixed Plant Operators to join ourGudai-Darri team to operate the processing plant in a safe and efficient manner. We need team members to perform daily inspections of equipment, maintain plant condition and perform isolations for maintenance activities. These roles are a great opportunity for enthusiastic individuals who are looking for a new challenge.

Reporting to the Supervisor Fixed Plant you will be:

  • Operating, carrying out routine inspections and maintaining the condition of the fixed plants
  • Demonstrating commitment to safety in a team environment
  • Demonstrating the ability to carry out basic fault find and diagnosis
  • Willing to work in a team environment and contribute to daily targets
  • Conducting routine activities to ensure safe and reliable operation of our area assets
  • Involved in any manual handling associated with basic maintenance and inspection of the plant
  • Working in a field role, monitoring of equipment, cleaning, hosing and identifying continuous improvement opportunities
  • Working autonomously to monitor the process in a safe and effective manner
  • Operating - Water Carts, Front End Loaders, Skid Steers, Tip Trucks and Loaders for Plant Clean-up and Dust Suppression.

What you’ll bring

  • A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team

  • An Australian C Class manual Driver's licence

  • Stacker / reclaimer operations experience

  • Operational experience in fixed plant environment

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks

  • High level of attention to detail and a disciplined approach to work
