Repair Bench Engineer- Sleep and Respiratory Care

Your Challenge

Responsible for receiving, decontaminating, diagnosing professionally, quoting, and repairing Sleep and Respiratory Care equipment in the Healthcare Repair Facility (HRF) to support customers and solving technical issues, and ensuring maximum customer satisfaction.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Diagnose healthcare equipment to quality standards set by Philips by testing and qualifying with customers or colleagues as required.

  • Verify customer’s product warranty or contract entitlement, where there is no entitlement take responsibility that customer is quoted, and service call is handled via an exception handling process.

  • Follow the process for the Fixed Price Repair (FPR) for all standard products and order the appropriate parts to achieve a first-time fix.

  • Use SAP Business One (SBO) for invoicing customers, delivery of repaired devices, and creating repair quotations using SBO.

  • Advise Customer Care Center Coordinators (CCC) and District Teams about the best follow-up for the technical state of the diagnosed healthcare equipment.

  • Support SRC Field Team with technical knowledge.

  • Escalate technical issues to Business Unit support after consultation with the Team Leader.

  • Be a professional representative to support customer problems, ensuring personal acceptability by the customer in behavior by adhering to policy and targets.

  • Follow all quality standards within the frame of valid Phillips business policies.

  • Conform to Philips safety standards including health and safety regulations and in the event of hazards or accidents take immediate control of the situation and involve the SRC Customer Care & Operations Manager and/or the responsible person to handle properly confidential issues according to Philips’s standards and to act according to General Business Principals

We are looking for :

  • Degree level Qualification in the Engineering domain

  • Ideally, experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of technical complex systems

  • Knowledge of medical systems and passion for working with technical products

  • High attention to detail for documentation requirements coupled with excellent computer literacy skills (MS Office and SAP)

  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment with excellent communication skills
