The South Flank Project is an expansion of BHP's existing Mining Area C hub, located approximately 130 km by road north-west of the town of Newman. This project has potential to become one of the largest standalone iron ore processing centres in the world, within reach of several billion tonnes of high-grade ore.

Reporting to the Superintendent, this role will have a strong focus on defect elimination, monitoring and controlling of the maintenance process, along with governance of local equipment strategies.
You will conduct root cause analysis investigations, lead defect elimination projects and prepare the maintenance budget based on equipment strategies.
Monitoring and analysis of maintenance performance metrics, planning and execution of activities to close performance gaps is all in a day’s work. Whilst managing the portfolio of local maintenance improvement initiatives, and providing effective reliability strategies.
To be our preferred candidate, you will be passionate about sustainable development and have a consistent focus on continuous improvement recognising the value of building and maintaining strong working relationships within the team and across the business to achieve business outcomes.
The roster will be based on a foundation of 5:2 (5 days on, 2 days off), 4:3 (4 days on, 3 days off), and 9:5 (9 days on, 5 days off). However candidates in pursuit of flexible work arrangements are encouraged to apply.
