The Amazon Web Services Professional Services team is looking for a Partner Enterprise Service Manager (ESM) that will work with our partners to rapidly build relationships with large organizations, develop a transformative Professional Services strategy, and execute that strategy within those accounts in collaboration with the ESMs across AWS Professional Services in ANZ. The Partner ESM is a trusted advisor for our largest and most committed AWS Partner Network (APN) partners. The role includes all aspects of Business and Digital transformation consulting, program & relationship development, contract structuring, and delivery oversight.

Our Partner ESM works programmatically with our customers, our account teams, and our executive teams within AWS, in order to scale through partners the value we can deliver across markets and industries. AWS Professional Services have the capacity to collaborate across the entire AWS and Amazon organization, bring access to product and service teams, get solutions delivered, and drive feature innovation based upon our customer’s needs. AWS have a rich partner ecosystem that includes Global, National and Local System Integrators, Specialized partners with deep domain expertise like CX, Analytics, or IOT, Born-in-the-cloud partners that are focused on cloud consulting, Independent Software Vendors, as well as Influencers.

AWS Professional Services engage in a wide variety of projects for customers and partners, providing collective experience from across the AWS customer base with our APN partners, and are obsessed about teaming with APN partners for strong success for the customer. Our team collaborates across the entire AWS organization to bring access to product and service teams, to get the right solution delivered and drive feature innovation based upon customer needs.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about:
  • Growing our Professional Services business across ANZ by building scalable partnerships that directly impact our customer’s ability to innovate and transform
  • Engaging in our largest and most transformative deals, and put those partnerships to work for our customers
  • Navigating the diverse customers in ANZ by building partner relationships that matter locally and yet scale
  • Building strategies and value propositions that accelerate business outcomes for customers and partners alike Building sustainable commercial partnerships, and manage the supporting contractual relationships with customers and partners
  • Overseeing delivery of priming, sub-contracting and joint delivery projects, ensuring high quality delivery


  • IT consulting/management experience, with demonstrated IT Transformation experience in customer and partner-facing roles. Experience working with large customer and partner multi-national organizations as the Consulting Services partner, Account and/or Relationship Manager
  • Demonstrated ability to work creatively in meeting customer and partner needs.
  • A proven track record of managing and delivering large-scale enterprise IT projects through teaming with Global System Integrators and Born in the Cloud partners.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including group and executive presentations. Be mobile and open to travel to client locations as and when required.
  • Experience working with matrix organizations as the Consulting Services partner and delivering against sales quota
  • A proven track record of positioning, negotiating and delivering large-scale enterprise IT projects


  • 10+ years of product management, product marketing, and/or strategic management consulting experience in an enterprise technology company, demonstrating experience with go-to-market strategy development and execution
  • Experience in public cloud computing or with a major enterprise software or infrastructure provider
  • Practical experience using the AWS platform for rapid application development and scaling
  • Demonstrated industry influence in the areas of lean enterprise, digital innovation, digital strategy and/or product development
  • Experience in one or more of the following: Lean Startup / Enterprise Methodology, User Experience, Product Management, Behavioral Science
  • Enterprise Architecture Frameworks (e.g. TOGAF, Zachman) and identifying the relationships between business services, information, applications and global infrastructure assets
  • Hands on experience leading large-scale digital or lean transformation projects
• Broad enterprise systems technology experience including IaaS / virtualization technologies, SAP, Oracle, and custom applications
