The Role:

Iress is a dynamic, open and matrix-style organisation with a client footprint stretched across the globe. The role of a Product Specialist is to respond to and resolve complex support enquiries from our clients within the Financial Markets sector.

The role will also work with teams globally - and will require out of hours work to ensure that when needed goals of these teams are understood and delivered.

What you will be doing:

  • Responding to complex support queries either escalated from the frontline support teams, other product specialists, or from clients directly

  • Assisting the Support Frontline team to respond to all client queries within our agreed SLA timelines

  • Engage with Frontline teams to improve skills and knowledge and provide specialist skills and knowledge to client projects as required

  • Work closely with global operations; account management; ProdTech and frontline teams for the deployment of new versions to key clients; and actively encourage and promote the benefits of minimum recommended versions to reduce production issues

  • Work closely with the Frontline support team to support activities associated with Iress' market data and trading product suite to drive excellent client outcomes.

What you will need:

  • 3-5 years experience within the Financial Markets industry, whether it be in a similar support type role or on the client side - with a solid understanding of trading systems

  • Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients

  • Ability to understand and support appropriate process, while looking for ways to improve efficiency, quality and our client experience

  • Exposure to any of Iress' products is highly regarded but not essential

  • Experience with defect tracking software and agile based development platforms such as JIRA

  • Analytical thinking and strong problem solving abilities

  • Adaptability, flexibility and ability to quickly respond to change
