Customer advocacy: understand the strategic and competitive position in the marketplace through customer interaction and primary/secondary market research Lead all product management, solution life cycle activities focused on SD-WAN/SASE features and functions Facilitate, manage and prioritize a robust product backlog and roadmap for SD-WAN/SASE Work effectively with product and engineering leaders, peers, and the executive team to develop strategic plans for the Megaport solution including partnerships Drive product delivery and execution. Identify opportunities for growth and competitive differentiation through new solutions; build market requirements and business cases to help commit product delivery plan Formulate plans and execute market positioning by creating field, customer-facing content to highlight the strategic value of the Megaport SD-WAN/SASE solution Coordinate and participate in industry events, customer, prospect, and field webinars regarding product and go-to-market initiatives Evangelize Megaport’s solution, differentiation with press, analysts and at industry events. Articulate Megaport’s solution vision, differentiation to customers, partners, and the market at large. Work closely with corporate marketing and other peers in Marcom, demand generation, lead generation in planning campaigns to target industry verticals to gain customer prospect mind share Work closely with the marketing organization to lead, coordinate, and execute product launch activities, sales training, presentations, sales tools, competitive analysis, and sales support
5-10 years of technology industry experience. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a product manager for external customer revenue-generating products, preferably with experience with multiple products. Experience working directly with external customers and the teams that support them, particularly sales and marketing. Prior experience with network technologies, with WAN technologies and software-defined networking a plus.

Reporting to the VP of Product Management, this role will facilitate the gathering and communication of requirements between stakeholders and the engineering teams. Your main task will be to include performing detailed requirements analysis, documenting processes and communication of findings. To succeed in this role you should have a natural analytical way of thinking and be able to explain difficult concepts to non-technical users.
A large part of this role is working with stakeholders to elicit problem statements and detailed requirements and to be able to communicate this to the engineering teams.
