All new and existing Atlassians will continue to work from home until it’s safe to return to our offices. When our offices re-open, we will provide the choice to work from home or return to work in an office unless a job requirement makes it necessary for a particular role to be performed at an Atlassian office.

Atlassian helps teams everywhere change the world. Our products are revolutionising the software industry and helping teams collaborate and craft the magic that delivers their best work. Think NASA launching the Rover on Mars or Cochlear gifting those born deaf with the ability to hear, your work directly impacts the products they use to advance humanity.

Doing so will require you to craft an engineering organisation that balances the need for rapid delivery of business impact, quality, reduction of tech debt and innovation.

You'll be responsible for building highly effective teams, empowering them to achieve their goals and connecting those goals to the broader Atlassian context. Your greatest responsibility will be to ensure the Engineers and Engineering Managers reporting into you are growing and excelling.

On your first day, we'll expect you to have:

  • Significant experience with crafting and operating large scale distributed cloud software
  • Experience managing and growing people leaders, and engineering organisations of 30+ people
  • Extensive hands-on experience delivering software using agile software development methodologies
  • Demonstrable track record of delivery whilst driving technical excellence, innovation and quality
  • Experience planning projects, people, and dependencies for upcoming 3-4 quarters
