How you’ll make an impact...
This role will form part of Xero’s Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Integration team responsible for integrating all acquisitions made by Xero.
Your role will be to provide integration and separation expertise to all functions within Xero. You will be responsible for a range of activities including the development of integration strategies, day 1 planning and the delivery of post-deal implementation programmes (or workstreams) that are critical to extracting the value of each unique transaction. You will work closely with all functions within Xero and the target, across all levels, including senior executives and founders of the businesses we acquire.
We are seeking an individual with experience in assessing and integrating acquisitions on a global scale with either a consultancy or an in-house M&A integration background. Should you not have specific M&A integration experience, we are also interested in applications from individuals who have a broad consultancy background or who have delivered complex programmes of work as part of in-house teams.
What you’ll do...
What you’ll bring...
The successful candidate will bring more than 4 years of clearly demonstrated experience, ideally in a SaaS environment, designing and implementing M&A integration programmes and working alongside deal teams in conducting due diligence and integration planning. Your exceptional strategic and analytical skills and structured approach to problem solving will support you in quantifying synergies or developing value creation plans in a growth scenario. Critical to this role will be your ability to independently drive initiatives end to end, collaborate with global cross-functional teams and comfortably connect across all levels of the organisation.
This role presents an outstanding opportunity to contribute to the continuous improvement of Xero’s approach to delivering M&A integration programs that will help Xero achieve its long term objectives.
