Transport for NSW is the lead agency of the NSW Transport cluster. Our role is to lead the development of a safe, efficient, integrated transport system that keeps people and goods moving, connects communities and shapes the future of our cities, centres and regions.

We are responsible for strategy, planning, policy, regulation, funding allocation and other non-service delivery functions for all modes of transport in NSW including road, rail, ferry, light rail, point to point, regional air, cycling and walking.
We focus on improving the customer experience and contract public and private operators to deliver customer-focused transport services on our behalf.

We also lead the procurement of transport infrastructure and oversee delivery through project delivery offices and industry delivery partners.

About the team

The Regional and Outer Metropolitan division engages with our customers and communities. We connect regional NSW with safe and tailored transport choices, and contribute to strong economic growth and sustainability across the state.

The Opportunity
Right now we are delivering major projects across our state road network in regional NSW to improve the customer experience. This is an exciting opportunity for a collaborative and proactive Program Support Officer to support the delivery of these projects as you collaborate closely with key stakeholders to provide high-level, efficient program support and contribute towards the

effective operation of the business unit.

Supporting the West Region and reporting directly to the Manager Program and Finance, you will collaborate closely with your Program and Finance Coordination team within the region to ensure the timely provision of business management information by verifying and coordinating accuracy of all data inputs.

You will be responsible for the administration of programs including processing and verification of financial and performance information, providing data support to all Regional Unit Managers and assisting with the implementation of new initiatives. Your role will also support the completion of the Branch Delivery Plan, including tracking delivery against plan targets and the provision of reports and analysis to Executives.

About You
This is a unique opportunity for someone with a strong financial and system background who can manage time and outcomes to provide relevant and timely information and enable program management. You have experience in budget and program administration, including an understanding of program structures. As well as experience in generating financial and program reports, including the ability to critically assess and examine the information. You also have the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and with stakeholders to achieve the best outcome for Transport for NSW and its customers. Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is Transport Grade 4 ($73,952 - $ 81,346) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
