This newly created position is a critical role in the AFL Digital department focusing on a broad content strategy to grow and diversify our audiences through a range of multimedia executions; written articles, podcasts, video, photography, animation and fan-generated content – connecting audiences to content that makes our fans stop, think, laugh or cry.

We engage with several commercial content partners, tech platforms and advertisers who are now partnering with us in vast ways. As these opportunities have grown and our business is pivoting, AFL Digital requires a digital media executive with broad experience and knowledge to provide solutions, expertise and support to our commercial team, our content producers and our client partners.

The Senior Digital Integration Manager will connect the needs of audience and commercial to drive growth and competitive advantage. They will work closely with the commercial team to ensure the delivery of a competitive and leading digital product to our partners and new advertisers.

  • Develop the commercial strategy for AFL Digital and deliver the relevant material and information to enable the sales team to execute

  • Drive measurable revenue growth though new content, advertising and product opportunities

  • Deliver the digital content KPIs

  • Create a new standard and portfolio of commercial collateral to take to market

  • Provide digital commercial leadership and guidance while supporting key stakeholders

  • Ensure strong relationship between AFL Digital, our digital rights and product partner, Telstra and the AFL commercial department.


  • 7+ years’ digital media publisher experience

  • Experience in building and executing a commercial strategy for a digital publisher

  • A creative, commercial, audience driven approach to driving growth

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and capability to build productive relationships with all key stakeholders

  • Ability to maintain a high degree of self-motivation and a passion for problem solving within a fast-paced environment.
