Our Buildings business creates integrated, multi-layered solutions that specialise in combining building services & intelligent automated systems including; HVAC, BMS, CCTV, Access Control and Energy Management, Metering & Monitoring.

Our solutions enable owners, end users and custodians, (Hospitals, Commercial, Retail, Industrial, Residential and Government buildings) to intelligently monitor, meter and control the attributes of their assets in real time, reducing consumption and improving reliability and quality.

Based in Notting Hill, Victoria and reporting to the Service Operations Manager, we have an exciting and challenging role for a Key Account Manager to join our team. You will promote Schneider Electric’s service offerings including service projects and advanced offers. Identify potential risks & opportunities to the branch with the aim of increasing the branch’s contribution levels. Maintain healthy profitable relationships with both internal & external customers to improve customer satisfaction (CSat).

The following will be key to your success\:

  • Achieving growth through solid relationships with our customers, gaining detailed understanding of their needs, pain points and strategic direction
  • Aligning our solutions offer accordingly to suit our customers specific current and future requirements
  • Build upon the current customer base of top-tier companies who are delivering smart buildings such as hospitals, schools, laboratories and the like
  • Building relationships at all levels with construction contractors, high end consulting engineering firms, government and other stakeholders
  • Being aware of market trends and the work you want to capture

We do not want to narrow the field, however, we do believe that instrumental to your success in this role will be your knowledge and or qualifications in the mechanical, electrical or engineering fields along with extensive experience in the building services industry.

Demonstrable experience in HVAC mechanical, CCTV and access control technology, supported by a solid track record of working with Facility Managers and other end users in a maintenance capacity would be an advantage.

You will demonstrate adaptability in technical sales by means of a success in multiple domains and or sectors with different products/solutions offerings and as an accomplished customer facing professional you will demonstrate success in building strategic relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders in our target customer groups
