Be the social champion for the Xero App Marketplace with a key focus on the developer experience. Manage Xero’s API community forums and monitor key industry forums to ensure we are an active part of the conversation and responding to issues quickly and effectively. Execute a world class organic social media strategy working in close consultation with our ecosystem marketing, social media and global communications teams. Report on social and community analytics and check that these connect or align with agreed key performance indicators. Produce content that explains and promotes our developer experience including messaging, media Q&As, holding statements and blogs. Be a trusted advisor to key leaders and help them share engaging content.
At least three years experience in social media management Experience in marketing, comms, campaign or community management and running social media/community for a brand. Confidence in managing multiple projects and priorities and presenting to key stakeholders and business leaders. Business fluency in app development and enterprise technology is preferred. Comfort using analytics tools is key. Writing in plain English and editing for both online and print is essential. You’ll be able to write great copy at pace whilst adhering to style guides, templates and compliance tools.

The Social Media Manager, Ecosystem & Partnerships is a critical position and will play a key role in connecting Xero with the robust ecosystem community and our leading product brands. You will help shape and deliver our social media strategy through channels including Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube and blogs. Strategic support of these social channels is vital in helping us to maintain strong connections with our API users and to reinforce our reputation for “building a network of innovation”.
Working with a team of experts - including developers, social strategists, communicators, marketers, analysts, sales teams and more - you’ll use your creative and technical ability to develop and execute ideas that amplify our unique brand.
