About the role
Laing O’Rourke are seeking a Design Manager to work across several exciting projects in Victoria. This is a permanent role and offers great career prospects with a privately owned tier 1 constructor and international engineering enterprise.
Implement Digital Engineering on the project by applying appropriate influence, input, resource, process and protocols. Develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, to deliver Digital strategies. Author and develop the 3D model, maintaining current knowledge of all project information and documentation. Mentor team members. Challenge current or outdated techniques and implement your own ideas and improvements. Apply cost modelling aspects of Digital Engineering. Utilise 4D and 5D principals to enable stakeholders to have visibility on progress / projected progress.
Ideally, 5+ years of experience in Digital Engineering, a relevant Engineering Degree or Associate Diploma, and experience in Digital Engineering on large-scale building or infrastructure projects is preferred.
