With more than 200 stores and employing over 34,000 people, Kmart is proud to be one of Australia and New Zealand’s largest and most successful retailers.
Serving the needs of Australian families is at the core of who we are as a business, that’s why we are driven to be the place customers rely on for low prices and making every day living brighter.
One of the keys to our success has been the effectiveness of our local distribution network and centres. As a high volume retailer we move millions of cartons of stock each year and our DCs are crucial to ensuring our stores receive stock in a safe and timely manner.
To support our growth, we currently have a number of limited tenure 6 month role opportunities for Casual Team Members.
It is a requirement that all employees be aged 18 or above to work in a Distribution Centre.
The roles available involve working on the sorter, processing cartons, stacking products on pallets, loading cartons on the conveyor and may include forklift tasks.
You should note that these are physically demanding positions which require:

- bending and squatting
We are currently looking for Team members with availability during the following times:

6.00am to 6.00pm
To be successful in this role you need to be able to manage the physical requirements (important), have great time management skills and have a strong commitment to health and safety.
You will be capable of working autonomously but also thrive in a team environment and be a natural team player who is supportive and helpful. You will have a great can-do attitude and embrace the Kmart values of integrity, team work, delivering results, boldness and putting our customers first!
