Let’s take a look at 99designs

99designs is a global creative platform that makes it easy for designers and clients to work together to make designs they love. We bring opportunities to freelance designers around the world through design contests and direct project work, and we have a community of creators located in 192 countries.

Since our humble beginnings in 2008, 99designs has gone from strength to strength and is regarded as one of Australia’s leading tech businesses. With our recent acquisition by Vistaprint, our team is scaling and we’re on the lookout for yet another amazing creative marketer to join our growing team.

So what is the role about I hear you ask?
As an EA, what are the things you love? Is it being a trusted partner who can be a sounding board? Is it managing schedules and correspondence so things run efficiently? Or is it simply making life easier for your Executive Leader? Well in this role all of these things are important. Working alongside the Senior Director for People and Community (who is an absolutely gorgeous human) you will be instrumental in enabling this function to operate to its full capacity.

To be successful in this role you need to be highly organised, have an attention to detail like no other but most of all be able to approach everything you do with a level of calm, maturity and confidentiality. You will thrive in a busy and creative environment where two days are never the same. On a day to day basis you will be responsible for all of the things you would expect as an EA – managing all forms of correspondence – email and other messaging platforms, calendar management, booking travel, setting agendas and taking minutes as well as reporting and pulling together presentations and workshops.

A little about you
You need to be unflappable and have the ability to manage conflicting priorities and enable your boss to be ahead of the game. You really need to be interested and understand what is going on in the business to be able to action items on her behalf. Experience supporting a Chief People Officer is ideal, however, it’s more about being a confidential advisor and brilliant organiser, with good business nous, maturity, and someone that can have a laugh along the way. You’ll have experience using Mac or Microsoft suite of products, G suite, Trello and Slack. If you don’t have all of these things, that’s ok too! You just need to demonstrate an ability and willingness to pick up new tech quickly.
