An exciting opportunity has presented itself to join the IT nbn Team as a Hybrid Cloud Platform Engineer.
A bit about your role
This position is for an automation specialist experienced in agile continuous delivery and focused on team first collaboration. The role is the Subject Matter Expert for the network and server orchestration capability in NBNs hybrid cloud environment and requires the design, development and delivery of Software Defined Data Centre (SDDC) tools and automation frameworks. The role reports through IT Service Operations and is responsible for maintaining and improving the operational maturity of the cloud lifecycle management systems including managing support issues with partners and vendors alike. The role also includes providing support for the managed file transfer B2B capability.
You will be reporting into the Manager Systems Management and Software within the IT division.
A bit about you
Ideally, to be successful in this role you will meet the below criteria:
- VMware vSphere & VRealize Automation Tools experience
- Microsoft and Linux Domain level knowledge
- Hybrid Cloud lifecycle knowledge
- In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure and configuration management automation solutions
- A keen interest in new technologies
- Architectural knowledge of automation best-practises and demonstrable experience
- Software development methodologies such as CI/CD
- VCAP – CMA certification will be highly regarded for this role
