About the role:
Jemena/Zinfra has established an ‘asset management End-to-End’ transformation project within Jemena Networks (JN), Gas Markets (GM) and Jemena Network Services (JNS), with a key objective to build capabilities within the business to support the long-term sustainability and profitability of Jemena and Zinfra.
As the Project Controller, you will be responsible for providing overall management of planning and coordinating project resources, timing, investment, problem resolution, risk/opportunity management and reporting required for various forums in line with the project requirements.
The role provides crucial support to the Project Director and Stream Leads in leading and delivering this group wide initiative and is available for a fixed term contract until the end of 2022.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Overall coordination and integration of activities within the project, in conjunction with the other programs, Stream Leads, Initiative Owners and the business
- Coordinating the status reporting for the overall program, including managing updates and variations to scope, schedule, benefits or risk
- Maintain individual Initiative Brief status and awareness of risks and interdependencies
- Support with reviews of program plans and assist with any simple methods or systems for program tracking
- Drive deeper insights into project findings and help surface new opportunities, benefits, and/or challenges.
Our ideal candidate will have:
With a tertiary degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems or Engineering you will also come with intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Power BI and Flow, SAP Business Objects.
You will have experience and knowledge of Project Management and change project environments and have the ability to interact appropriately with a wide range of people spread across the office as well as field and engineering roles.
Operating in a collaborative environment, your ability to influence and lead will be critical. You will be strong technically and have a competent understanding of the principles of project delivery budget control, schedule control and scope management.
Intermediate to advanced competence with Microsoft Project and linking in with other reporting systems is essential as well as the ability to quickly learn specialist organisational software.
