Job Description

A highly motivated and energized individual with sufficient catering knowledge and confidence to engage all levels of Sodexo Catering staff, Village management and dining room guests through various means of communication.

As the IFMS Regional Catering Manager, you will be accountable for the onsite catering operations of a portfolio of kitchens within a region. You will be working on-site and your focus will be setting and achieving targets and then analysing variances in Food Cost, User Satisfaction, Contractual catering KPI’s and site compliance to the Sodexo food management process.

The aim of this position is the create stable catering teams with a focus on improved service quality, strong kitchen culture, job satisfaction and safety.

  • Drive training and all aspects of compliance to the food management process and management plans
  • Monitor all kitchen processes within the day to day operations
  • Improve and build on Client and Customer satisfaction and engagement
  • Ensure wastage and forecasting are managed to mitigate impact on food cost and performance
  • Lead Safety performance
  • Implement all food concepts, initiatives and offers
  • Drive the culture of continuous improvement
  • Ensure efficiency is always considered as a key driver


Minimum CERT III Commercial Cookery (required)

Remote site Chef experience (5yrs in Kitchen leadership as Head Chef, Executive Chef or Catering Manager)

Frontline Business Management - Diploma/Certificate IV (preferred)

Food Safety Supervisor (Certified)
