About the role

We have an immediate opportunity for a Junior Asset Engineer to join our team based in Rouse Hill. You will work across our MTS and NIF maintenance projects and support the Asset Engineer with managing assigned tasks. You will oversee the operation of the existing Asset Management Information Systems including maintenance work scheduling. You will also be responsible for\:

  • Assist in development and review of Asset Management documentation / processes
  • Generate, schedule, distribute and close out maintenance work in a timely manner
  • Ensure compliance of works scheduling to reflect obligations under the current contract
  • Follow up defects with the relevant team members
  • Work with subcontractors to review asset inventory documentation

About you

You are self-motivated and eager to learn and develop your career. You contribute to a strong ‘Safety First’ culture and have previous experience working on engineering and maintenance projects. You also possess\:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 2-years’ experience in a large engineering or maintenance project environment
  • Working knowledge of SAP Asset Management modules, best practice, process and procedures
  • Working knowledge of Asset Management best practise, process and procedures
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to build relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders
  • Strong computer skills including the Microsoft Office 365 suite of programs
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently to organise and prioritise demands.
