We are looking for a talented Communications Manager – Asia Pacific to join our team. This role will be responsible for developing and leading brand, marketing and communications strategy and activities with a clear focus on digital and can be based in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane. Data led, your commercial orientation, previous experience, strategic agility and outstanding relationship management skills, will see you succeed in this newly created role.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways\:

  • Develop and execute the external and internal communications strategy (including public relations and social media)
  • Organizational development - develops, manages, coaches and mentors’ direct reports and optimize the structure of the team
  • Liaise with the Asia Pacific and Global communications & marketing functions to ensure consistent and aligned messaging
  • Building & managing strong relationships with business partners, news, tech and trade media, optimizing media opportunities accordingly
  • Define, develop, and maintain fully integrated digital marketing strategies, campaigns and & promotional calendars, including website/s, EDMs, Social, SEO/SEM and content to drive traffic and engagement
  • Track analytics, measure and drive optimal ROI and inform the planning and strategy process.

To be successful in this role you will need the following\:

  • Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in both internal and external communications, with a proven track record in creating and delivering digital strategies
  • Digital experience in emerging trends, digital for business, metrics, paid v organic, advertising content
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, ideally with technical writing experience
  • Strong stakeholder management and engagement skills with the ability to collaborate and influence in a culturally diverse, matrixed organisation
  • Solid commercial acumen with experience in owning a communications budget
