Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant - Risk

Our model is a little different and we’re not looking for someone who is your typical 360 recruitment Consultant. In this role you’ll act as a Coach to our candidates and Hiring Manager, a Project Manager to ensure we’re delivering a great experience against agreed timeframes.

You’ll be partnering with our Source and Screen Partner, Randstad SourceRight who will proactively source candidates and shortlist them based on phone interviews. That’s where you step in, coaching candidates on what to expect in the interview, working to tight timeframes and ensure that calibration discussions focus on potential as well as experience. You’ll partner with the business and RSR to get the right outcome.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Partnering with Randstad SourceRight to deliver a seamless, best practice Candidate and Hiring Manager experience

  • Partnering with the business and our HRBPs to advise on the Talent acquisition market both passive and active. At times you’ll need to be comfortable challenging?? what Hiring Managers think they want and use data and evidence to highlight the challenges so that the right outcome is achieved for all

  • Driving the conversation regarding future talent needs so that we can actively start pipelining candidates

  • Influencing the diversity of the talent pipeline to ensure that ING continues to attract the best talent

  • Enhancing ING’s brand externally through providing an exceptional candidate experience

  • Provide coaching and advise on suitability of candidates to the sourcing team

What you’ll need:

  • We’re growing our team, which is exciting and shows ING’s commitment to Talent Acquisition but will on your part require resilience and a high degree of flexibility

  • Significant experience working within Risk recruitment, preferably in Banking and Financial Services

  • You’ll need to be highly consultative and provide best practice advice and guidance to the business

  • Experience operating in an in-house or RPO recruitment role, ideally within a Banking or Financial Services background

  • To achieve success in this role you’ll understand your success is tied to your Sourcing team’s success, so you’ll need to be able to partner and coach sourcers to achieve great results for our business

  • Be highly organised and proactive
