Analyse user needs and requirements to formulate and produce requirements and artefacts for the development of new products, or the extension of existing products Work with the Product Research team to develop new ideas into fully scoped products Work with the Development team to clarify requirements Take ownership of the requirements from concept to delivery Groom the backlog, support the Product Manager to run the prioritisation process and co-ordinate the progression of work through the end to end development process Ensure that products developed are fit for purpose, scalable and extensible
Demonstrated experience as a BA working in digital product delivery A strong technical background with a good understanding of API's, back-end architecture & third-part intergration Experience analysing large datasets, such as portfolios of customer financial and behavioural data Experience in establishing business cases, business requirements, functional requirements and interface designs Demonstrated experience in operating in an Agile delivery environment, with a comprehensive understanding of the agile methodology Good written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to run workshops and to communicate effectively with Product Owners, Engineers, External Clients and other stakeholders across the organisation

It builds and extends the Xero API platform which allows our small business customers to connect their Xero business data with our lending ecosystem partners. These lending ecosystem partners include banks and fintechs across our global markets.
We are continually evolving and iterating our data products to make it easier for our lending partners to provide our small business customers with credit.
As the Business Analyst you will play a key role in the development of new API based credit integrations.
